drumbuild faster.mp4In every group Mac has been in he has had a significant hand in drum maintenance, if not explicitly the equipment manager. He has reskinned dozens of drums in groups from Maine, Boston, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Mac is able to repair drums on the East Coast either as a pick-up/drop-off service, or to provide hands-on instruction and guidance to groups looking to skin multiple drums. He is also happy to do remote consultation: Mac loves nerding out about drums.
Mac's personal collection of drums and stands are either made from scratch or are second-hand from different groups. Mac has found a balance of getting quality materials when needed and finding thrifty solutions otherwise.
