Teaching
Mac is no stranger to teaching taiko.
Starting in Fall of 2023 Mac is an Associate Professor for the Swarthmore Dance Department.
He teaches DANC 057 (Taiko I) and in Fall '23 he taught DANC 049, Taiko Repertoire, featuring students in the Dance show
Mac offered self-contained one-day taiko workshops at Shofuso for the 2022-2023 Season every Saturday from 13:30-14:30 as well as an ongoing repertoire workshop from 15:00-16:00.
Individuals
Mac has been a teacher to students with zero taiko experience and those with a background in taiko learning a new style. No amount of previous experience is too much or too little.
Groups
Mac is able to teach groups at an amateur level or a professional level. Available for one-day workshop, week-long retreats, or for ongoing lessons.
Mac has built or refurbished all of his drums, and has the resources to be a taiko handyman
Travel
Mac has his own set of taiko drums, and can travel to your space
